The Mount Pleasant redevelopment replaces the former Royal Mail sorting depot with a new residential quarter delivering 681 homes in Phase 1, alongside landscaped courtyards and new public routes connecting Clerkenwell and Farringdon.
Delivered by Taylor Wimpey and London Square and constructed by Bouygues UK, the project forms part of a major regeneration that transforms a historic industrial site into a modern residential community.

This site once handled thousands of letters a day. Now it delivers hundreds of homes, and our job was to make sure they arrived looking their best.
Across the development, the goal remained simple: remove the last signs of construction and present homes ready for residents.
At Mount Pleasant, our builders cleaning works helped prepare 681 apartments and shared internal spaces for completion. What was once one of London’s busiest Royal Mail sorting offices is now a new residential neighbourhood ready to welcome its first residents.
