The REX development introduces a modernco-living scheme in Kingston upon Thames, designed to provide flexible livingspaces for young professionals and city residents. Located close to the towncentre, the building combines private studios with shared communal spacesdesigned to encourage community and collaboration.

Working alongside CField Construction, ourteam delivered painting, builders cleaning, and abseiling, helping bring thedevelopment through its final construction stages both inside and out.

Project OVERVIEW

A New Model for City Living

The development delivers 210 co-living spaces, combining compact private studios with shared amenities designed for modern urban living. Alongside the studios, the building includes communal lounges, circulation spaces, and external elevations that required finishing attention as the project approached completion.

With both internal areas and external façades approaching completion at the same time, finishing works had to be coordinated across the entire building.

Co-living buildings pack a lot into one structure. Hundreds of private rooms inside, and a façade outside that still needs attention several storeys up.

Walls Ready for Residents

Painting works ensured studios, corridors, and shared spaces were finished cleanly and consistently throughout the building.

Dust Doesn’t Belong in Co-Living

Builders cleaning removed construction residue from apartments and communal areas, bringing interiors up to inspection-ready condition.

Where Ladders Stop, Ropes Start

Our rope access teams handled the external elevations, cleaning façades and glazing safely across the building where traditional access wasn’t practical.

Across the development, the focus stayed simple: make the building look complete from the inside out.
