Scape Canalside sits in Mile End, right by the Queen Mary Universityof London campus, turning a tight canal-side site into a major studentaccommodation scheme. Set between railway lines and Regent’s Canal, it is thekind of project where the location alone tells you the delivery had to besharp.
Working alongside HG Construction, our team delivered the paintingpackage, helping bring the interiors up to the standard expected across ahigh-density student development.

Developed for SCAPE, the project delivered 412 studio rooms and cluster flats across multiple linked blocks, with communal areas, study spaces, a gym, and lounges designed around student life. Its position right by Queen Mary University of London makes the educational angle clear from the start.
With that many student rooms and shared spaces packed into one scheme, the finish had to stay consistent from corridor to cluster flat.

Student accommodation has a habit of showing everything. White walls, tight rooms, long corridors, shared kitchens, study areas. If the finish is off, it does not stay a secret for long.
Across the scheme, the aim stayed simple: make a complex student development feel crisp, consistent, and ready for occupation.
At Scape Canalside, our painting package helped prepare 412 student rooms and shared internal spaces within a logistically demanding Mile End development right by Queen Mary University of London. The finish had to feel clean, consistent, and ready for the people it was built for
